I would like to thank officer mascarenas for his help on Sept. 30th. I parked my car at my sisters house across from the hospital. I park there and walk across the road to my job at the hospital. When I got out of the car I must have hit the lock button on the door. In the car was my pocketbook, cell phone and both sets of my car keys. Needless to say I had to call the police for help. thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to help me. My spare key is now at home instead of in my lunch bag.

It's not easy to serve and protect and be left on the ground dying for doing so.

In 1981, I was shot point blank and left to die as the assailant drove off with the police cruiser, turning on and off the emergency roof lights I believe signaling someone as he was leaving the crime scene.

I know the feeling of lying there helpless and hopeless but I survived only to get the booth for doing so.
