The New York State Sex Offender registry is a State service that helps protect our families from potentially dangerous sex offenders by requiring them to register and providing that information to the public. Sex offenders are classified by 3 levels:
Level 1 (low risk of repeat offense), or Level 2 (moderate risk of repeat offense), or Level 3 (high risk of repeat offense and a threat to public safety exists).
